The filter mesh is designed to fit the 1 Pot system, the Easy2grow kit and the 2Pot extension trays to extend the easy2grow kit. The screen is black in colour and is placed in the container. Its purpose is to prevent compost or soil from leaking out of the pot, keeping the system clean and the Aquavalve valve free of debris. It also provides minimal protection against escaping roots.

These screens usually last for several seasons, but it is advisable to replace them at the beginning of each season, which will prevent the transfer of any disease if present.
