Film that offers excellent light return and is 100% opaque. The reel is 1.25 x 100 metres, although smaller films are available.

Reflective Materials

Reflective plastics are used to increase the amount of light available to plants.

There is some debate as to the best reflective plastic (white or aluminium). Aluminised plastics (Mylar type) reflect a higher percentage of the original light source than white; however, white provides a more diffuse light and a more uniform reflection. Therefore, white is better as it has a higher percentage of diffused light than any aluminised plastic.
