The special square plates are plastic plates to be placed under the pots in order to prevent the irrigation water from escaping through the soil and to collect the drainage.

It can also be used to water the plants from the root, filling the tray with water where the plants will be placed. This irrigation system is suitable as long as at the end of the day we remove the water that the plant has drunk. If we leave the water for a long time, it can rot the roots.
