What are natural fibre pots made of?

From recycled plastic water bottles. The plastic from the bottles is melted down to a sterile liquid state and mixed with natural fibres that degrade over time. This material is BPA-free and UV-resistant.

Why are natural fibres beneficial?

Natural fibres are biodegradable, depending on the amount of mixed natural and synthetic fibres (PET), they will hold more or less time to penetrate the roots of the fabric, because when the fabric starts to degrade, the roots can penetrate into the soil. Root Pouch offers 5 different densities and blends of natural fibres to suit all types of crops.
