Ulti-MiteSwirski is a predatory mite that fights various pests such as whiteflies, thrips and spider mites in horticultural and ornamental crops. It quickly establishes itself, developing a strong population in response to increased pest pressure. Like Amblyseius cucumeris, Swirski feeds on the first larval stage of thrips. The big difference is the faster speed to establish a population with Swirski, which results in more efficient control. It also controls the whitefly, feeding on the eggs and first stage larvae. As the parasitic wasps used for whitefly control parasitize the second, third, and fourth larval instars, Swirski is an excellent complement to existing whitefly control strategies. The spider mite is also controlled if it is the only pest in the greenhouse, although, if the pest is installed in the greenhouse, specific predators (pHytoseiulus persimilis or Amblyseius californicus) must be added.

The Ulti-MiteSwirski is presented in envelopes that hold 250 individuals. They are to be hung at half height on the plant. The best way to use Swirski is to hang one envelope per plant preventively (even if there are no pests).

These sachets contain the predatory mite Amblyseius swirskII that preys on various pests, mainly Thrips (young larvae), Whitefly (eggs and larvae) and Red spider (eggs and nymphs).

Sachets are small bio-factories that continuously produce A. Swirski for several weeks. Predatory mites emerge from the envelope, actively seek out the pest, and suck it dry.

How to use

• Hang the envelopes in the culture
• Envelopes should be handled by the cardboard strip at the top
• Spical Ulti-mite tolerates a range of chemical pesticides, and must be used in combination with Ref # 802012
• Beneficial biological organisms have a very short life cycle, so storage will be 1 to 2 days
• Store at a temperature of 12-14ºC and in a dark place
• The dose is 1 sachet per plant (1 sachet every 3 plants if the plants touch each other).
