Waterfarm terra aquatica

The AquaFarm is the first small hydroponic system, created in 1975 years ago by General Hydroponics. Thousands of these modules have been sold since then, bringing satisfaction to their users with the result of beautiful harvests.

Technically similar to the AquaFarm, the WaterFarm differs from the AquaFarm in size.

What are their applications?

These systems have multiple applications: among collectors and nurserymen for mother plants, in the home for decorative or culinary plants of all sizes, or in the kitchen for fresh aromatic herbs, ready for seasoning meals.

They are also used in research laboratories and universities, as well as in schools, where they allow the development of plants to be appreciated under the enthusiastic gaze of pupils of all ages.

The AquaFarm and WaterFarm hydroponic growing systems can be placed anywhere, in the living room, in the office, on a veranda or in a greenhouse.

How does AquaFarm and WaterFarm work?

The plants are placed in a pot filled with expanded clay (Hydroton). This growing pot is suspended above a reservoir filled with nutrient solution. An air pump sends the solution to the pumping column and then distributes it through the distribution ring.

The solution flows between the clay balls and returns to the reservoir, soaks up oxygen and constantly bathes the healthy roots, which use the nutrient in the most efficient way.
