Entonem are nematodes that actively seek the larvae of the soil flies (sciarid fly or mulch fly), as well as thrips pupae and larvae in the soil and substrate. These penetrate through the anal orifices, pierce the intestinal wall of the larva and cause the death of the larva. Nematodes reproduce in the larvae until they disintegrate. If the yellow traps indicate a significant infection, repeat the Entonem treatment after 3 weeks. Yellow sticky traps should be placed low on the plants, close to the ground. After application, the fly larvae die within a few days, but for long-lasting control the combination of Steinernema and the release of the predatory mite Stratiolaelaps scimitus is recommended.

Entonemis applied by irrigation as a curative means when the pest is observed. It can also be applied by spraying the substrate / soil mixed with plenty of water. It is recommended to apply it together with Ref#802016 and to keep the substrate moist in the days after application.

How to use

• Remove the container from the refrigerator within half an hour to bring it to a temperature of 20ºC.
• Chop the contents of the envelope and place the smaller pieces in a bucket with five liters of water between 15 and 20ºC.
• Rest the solution for about five minutes.
• Stir until all the mist has disappeared and place in the spray tank.
• Use the solution immediately.

Different ways of application

• Store at a temperature of 2-6ºC and in a dark place.
