TopMix+ perlite by Mills Nutrients. High quality potting soil fertilised by Mills during production. TopMix is a mixture of black, brown and white peat and contains 15% perlite. Perlite helps to maintain the structure of the soil by preventing compaction, but it also absorbs and slowly releases oxygen and water into the root zone of the plant. The Mills peat nutrient mix and other structural ingredients ensure that plants grown in Mills TopMix get everything they need from the very first momentAll our substrates are approved by the RHP (regulatory foundation for the potting soil trade in the Netherlands) which ensures that the right water level is restored to the peat beds, thus guaranteeing new peat for future generations. Most have become very important sanctuaries for wildlife and aquatic species.
